The chartered mission of the SUVCW is to preserve the memory of veterans of the Army, Navy, Marines, and Revenue Cutter Service who fought for the Union cause in the U.S. Civil War (1860-1865).
We do this through:
Special awards programs for youth organizations (see menu on left)
Participating in and supporting public outreach and education events
Maintaining registries of memorials and grave sites
Preserving and curating documents and records of the G.A.R.
