For one weekend in May, the Gibson Ranch County Park hosts a large re-enactment of Civil War history. Hundreds of re-enactors and historical portrayers attend, along with authentic artillery and other battlefield weaponry.
In between the battle re-enactments, the public interacts with the portrayers, and is treated to an authentic view of camp life in both Union and Confederate armies.
