Camp Display Equipment – Help Needed

Greeting, Brothers. This is your webmaster and Communications Officer speaking. For the past 8 years or so, I have also been the keeper of the Camp 22 and Company B campsite equipment used for our period-accurate displays and re-enactments. Unfortunately, I must now seek another storage location for the equipment, and I appeal to my Camp Brothers for assistance.

Over the years, Brother Don Wilt has added items to our inventory, giving us the ability to display a fairly complete replica of a Civil War officer’s campsite. Our campsite display has been featured in many re-enactments, and was once the centerpiece of a museum exhibition. I will provide more details below, but the entirety of the equipment fits in my small pickup truck (with approximately 2 ft of tent poles sticking out the back). All of the equipment is portable enough to be lifted and carried by one reasonably fit person. I’ve loaded, unloaded, and transported it by myself numerous times. As to storage footprint, it is easily stacked in a 6 foot square space, with tent poles stood on end.
